Grand gestures are common but the beauty lies in simplicity. Resonating such quirks, athlete couple Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens decided to have a date night with a twist. Instead of going out to an expensive restaurant, the couple had an in-house cozy dinner with good food and a pleasant ambiance.
Biles took to Instagram to share her special evening indulgences with her fans. In a series of stories, the gymnast gave sneak peeks of her date night with her fiance. Complete with good food, pretty flowers, and a television series, the couple proved that love was not all about grand gestures.

One of the stories featured a shot of the chef along with a floral arrangement. The caption read, “The most perfect inhouse date night”. This was followed by a series of photos of the food which is a testament to the fact that Owens did a good job as the chef for the night. Toward the end, Biles mentioned that the couple planned to end their night with the famous drama series, The Vampire Diaries.

When Biles made waves with her supportive gestures
Simone Biles is Owen’s biggest supporter, both on and off the field, and fiance Jonathan Owens can testify to this. Throughout all his matches as a safety for his team, Houston Texans, Biles has always stepped up with something unique to cheer.

The gymnast sported hoodies and jackets with Owens’ name or his jersey number imprinted on them. The proud fan also customizes her outfits to show them off at matches. She once got a custom pair of jeans with ‘Owens’ printed behind them. Although it’s been more than two years since the couple got together, their love for each other feels as fresh as new. With their wedding coming up soon, fans can’t wait to see how the new chapter in their lives would turn out.
