Tom Parker’s Widow Shares Tribute On 4th Wedding Anniversary

The late Tom Parker‘s widow, Kelsey Parker, continues to miss him, but Thursday was particularly difficult for her as it was their fourth wedding anniversary.

A heartbroken Kelsey took to social media to remember her beloved husband as she celebrates the wonderful love they shared while he was alive.

Tom Parker’s Widow Celebrates Their Wedding Anniversary

Kelsey took to Instagram yesterday to share a video from her and the late singer’s wedding day. The couple looked so in love as they sang along to “Good Life” by Kanye West featuring T-Pain, R Kelly’s “Ignition,” and “Ain’t Nobody” by Chaka Khan & Rufus, amongst other songs.

Tom and Kelsey undoubtedly had a swell time on their wedding day as seen in the way their outfits progressed through the clip. The late The Wanted band member looked dapper in an exquisite grey suit.

Kelsey, on the other hand, stunned in a gorgeous lace wedding dress. They danced and sang along to their favorite songs while surrounded by so much love from their friends and family.

“Never did I ever think this is how I’d be celebrating our 4 year wedding anniversary Tom,” a heartbroken Kelsey started the tear-jerking caption.

“Most people wish to have their wedding day again, I’d settle for a hug, “she continued. “Miss you immensely and it’s not getting easier but as I promised I would, I’m here, staying positive, toasting you and us, and staying grateful for the time we had.”

Kelsey described their wedding day as “truly was the best day of my life” and promised to hold on to every memory of it. She concluded the sweet tribute, writing, “Love you, Tom. Thank you for choosing me to be Mrs Parker. Positive Parkers Forever ❤️.”

Fans and loved ones sent their condolences to Kelsey in the comments section. One comment read, “love you so much Kels❤️ was such a beautiful wedding and you’ll have those memories forever. Xxxxx.,” while the other noted, “What a wedding 😍 Memories that will last a lifetime. Miss him so much ❤️ You will forever make him proud ❤️.”

Tom and Kelsey had a beautiful love that was blessed with two wonderful children, daughter Aurelia Rose, 3, and son Bodhi Thomas, 21 months.

The English Singer Passed At 33

The world received the devastating news of Parker’s demise on March 30 via a statement released by Kelsey on behalf of his family. She shared the sad news on social media writing, It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side.

The statement continued, “Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence. We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children. Thank you to everyone who has supported in his care throughout, he fought until the very end. I’m forever proud of you.”

The Wanted’s official Instagram page also mourned the loss of their beloved member with the touching message, “Max, Jay, Siva, Nathan and the whole Wanted family are devastated by the tragic and premature loss of our bandmate Tom Parker, who passed away peacefully at lunchtime today surrounded by his family and his band mates. Tom was an amazing husband to Kelsey, and father to Aurelia and Bodhi. He was our brother, words can’t express the loss and sadness we feel. Always and forever in our hearts. Tom Parker 1988-2022.”

Before his demise, Tom battled brain cancer, grade 4 glioblastoma, and often opened up to fans about his health journey.

Parker’s Daughter Doesn’t Understand He’s Gone

Following Tom’s devastating demise, Kelsey has been candid with fans about how she and the children have been coping with his immense loss.

As The Blast reported, during an appearance on the British show “Lorraine,” Kelsey discussed how she has been trying to keep her husband’s legacy alive, especially with her kids.

“I’ve been really honest, but she does still talk about him every day,” she revealed. However, their 3-year-old hasn’t fully grasped that her father is no more.

Kelsey explained, “She doesn’t quite understand that he’s not coming back. So I have to be really blunt to say he’s not coming, that’s it. He’s dead and he’s not coming back.”

Despite Kelsey’s bluntness, their daughter Aurelia believes her father is away on tour with his band.

“She’s a bit like, ‘Well, you’ve been on tour, so is he going to come back from this?’ She’s just really confused by it,” Kelsey admitted.

Our prayers and thoughts continue to go out to Kelsey and the family.
