The Indian cricketer scored a Test century after more than three years. After reaching the milestone, he took off his helmet, raised his bat and flashed a bright smile, as he acknowledged the cheering audience. Next, Kohli reached out for his wedding band under his sweat-soaked jersey and kissed it, while looking up at the sky. The gesture left fans gushing over him.

A few of the comments on Reddit read, “5 years since the marriage and since he first did this celebration and the man keeps going back to kissing his wedding band on every big occasion”, “Anushka really won in life”, “She really Domesticated the DILLI KA LAUNDA” and “Their relationship is all hearts they have matured & evolved together, appear to have a healthy relationship with lots of respect & love. It’s endearing. Also Virat GOAT!!!”

The Indian star cricketer had recently spoken about being inspired by his wife at every stage of his life. In a podcast with Danish Sait, he said, “When I met Anushka…I saw a different side of life. It wasn’t the same as my environment. It was a different perspective, a different point of view. When you fall in love, you start processing those changes within you, as well. Because you have to move together and to do that you have to open yourself up, you have to accept a lot of things… You share ideas, you share perspectives, which I had never seen in my life.”

The couple tied the knot in 2017 after dating for a few years. They welcomed their first child Vamika in January 2021.
