WEST SPRINGFIELD — For those planning their wedding, the Springfield Wedding & Bridal Expo at Eastern States Exposition on Saturday was the epitome of one-stop shopping.
More than 150 vendors, companies, designers and planners filled the Better Living Center for the two-day show. Featured were glamorous gowns, elegant formal wear, fashion shows, live music, entertainment and ice sculptures. Food samples were provided by local caterers and banquet halls.
Under one roof, brides were able to pick out a DJ, photographer, videographer, florist, cake maker, linens, wedding outfits, limousine services, invitations and more.
The 33rd annual show, billed as the biggest wedding and bridal exhibition in Western Massachusetts, is produced by Jenks Productions. Sponsors of the show include WWLP TV 22, The Republican, MassLive, MNE Events, Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place, Hampton Inn West Springfield, Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Enfield-Springfield, and The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach.
The Springfield Wedding & Bridal Expo continues on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 1305 Memorial Ave., West Springfield. Admission is $10, and free for children under 12.
