Episode titles for What We Do in the Shadows season 4 have been revealed, and they tease a mysterious wedding in the penultimate episode.
New episode titles for What We Do in the Shadows season 4 tease a mysterious wedding. The acclaimed, Emmy-nominated horror mockumentary TV series serves as a spin-off to Taika Waititi and Jermaine Clement’s 2014 Kiwi-cult movie of the same name. In the show, which began airing on FX in 2019, Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, and Mark Proksch star as Nandor, Laszlo, Nadja, and Colin Robinson, a new crop of dull-witted vampiric roommates living in Staten Island, with Blue Beetle’s Harvey Guillén playing their forbearing familiar, Guillermo. Throughout its three seasons, What We Do in the Shadows has been an out-an-out hit for its hilarious writing, delightful performances, and oft-kilter take on the vampiric lore. Season 4 is due to premiere on July 12, 2o22, and What We Do in the Shadows seasons 5 and 6 have already been ordered.

The madcap season 3 finale saw all the vampires head out in different directions, with Nadja and Guillermo setting off for Europe, Nandor embarking on a globe-trotting quest for love, and Laszlo staying behind to raise Colin Robinson, who was reborn as a baby. At that time, the cliffhanger ending made it seem as though season 4 would see the vampires scattered across the world. But as previously confirmed by What We Do in the Shadows season 4’s synopsis, the vampires will quickly reunite in the first episode. Season 4 will also see Nadja opening the hottest nightclub in all of New York, while Nandor will get stuck in a compromising situation after wishing all of his 37 dead wives back to life. Now, there is some additional information on the storylines that What We Do in the Shadows season 4 will chart.
A new report by SpoilerTV has disclosed the titles for the latter seven episodes of season 4. The first three episode titles were revealed earlier, and now the remaining episode titles provide some interesting insight into the plot lines to come in season 4. While it’s hard to break down what each title signifies, the penultimate episode 4.09, “The Wedding,” makes it abundantly clear that someone in the show is getting hitched. A wedding in What We Do in the Shadows season 4 has been teased by the cast members in recent interviews as well. Although the ensemble remains decidedly coy about the event, Berry and Demetriou had suggested that their characters would be “providing entertainment for a wedding of some sorts,” in season 4 when asked if the duo would sing again after their infamous stage performance in season 2. With Laszlo and Nadja entertaining, it’s unlikely that they are the ones getting wed in the specific episode. But obviously, their reluctance to speak about the story and the proximity of the episode to the season finale indicates that the wedding in question is indeed a major spoiler that will likely shake things up for What We Do in the Shadows status quo.
The best bet, guessing from Nandor’s multiple season-spanning love life track, is that he will be the one tying the knot in episode 4.09. Nandor’s search for love has indeed met its share of roadblocks and with the ghost of his past relationships (all 37 of them) lurking in season 4, it’s likely that the subplot will reach a climax soon. But viewers shouldn’t get too excited, as with at least two more seasons in the can, it’s a long shot that the showrunners will resolve Nandor and Guillermo’s complicated chemistry and make them a couple. In fact, if Nandor is actually getting married, it most likely involves getting his resurrected wives back to where they came from. At the moment, details aren’t sufficiently concrete. But with only a little more than a week to go before What We Do in the Shadows season 4 premieres, fans will hopefully learn a bit more about the much-anticipated wedding in the coming days
