Who is Lance Reddick’s wife? The widow the ‘John Wick’ star leaves behind

Lance Reddick’s unexpected passing on Friday left fans and colleagues stunned.

His representative confirmed that he died of natural causes at his home in Los Angeles, with his wife, Stephanie Reddick, stating he was taken too soon.

“Lance was taken from us far too soon,” wrote Stephanie.

“Thank you for all your overwhelming love, support and beautiful stories shared on these platforms over the last day. I see your messages and can’t begin to express how grateful I am to have them.

“And to the thousands of Destiny players who played in special tribute to Lance, thank you. Lance loved you as much as he loved the game. Donations may be made to momcares.org in Baltimore, his hometown.”

Who is Stephanie Reddick?

The two married back in 2011 in Minnesota in a low-key wedding, 12 years after they met at a theater she worked at in the same state.

Back in 1999, Stephanie was working on the set of the Gurthrie Theater, and they chose to hold the ceremony in the same state to pay tribute to where they began as a couple.

“We did everything at Bar Lurcat in Minneapolis, from the ceremony to the reception,” Stephanie told MspMag.

“We had people coming in from out of town, and I didn’t want to make them go from one place to another. And Bar Lurcat is so stunning. We actually changed the date of the wedding just so we could have it there.

“I told (the florist) I didn’t care what the flowers were as long as they were pretty.

“She suggested peonies, because they were in season at the time. I didn’t even know what color the flowers were going to be until the day of the wedding, and they turned out just gorgeous.”

Stephanie was Lance’s second wife, and together, they shared two children, Yvonne and Christopher.

She made several appearances with him on the red carpet, with the couple spending most of their days in their Los Angeles mansion.

Lance even landed a role in her theater five years after receiving a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama.
