Zara Tindall divides fans with yet another ‘too short’ dress

Zara Tindall is one of the most stylish members of the Royal Family and she isn’t afraid to experiment with fashion. In recent months, she has made headlines for wearing short dresses and playsuits that fans don’t often see royals wearing.

Zara is currently on Australia’s Gold Coast and was spotted being interviewed by American journalist Amanda Bate.

For the chat, which took place last Friday, January 6, Zara wore a colourful patterned shirt dress that showed off her muscular legs.

Called the “Catalina” Shirt Mini Dress, the garment was by luxury Australian fashion designer Rebecca Vallance.

The dress comes complete with a stylish belt, which accentuates the wearer’s waist. It is currently available to buy on fashion website Farfetch for £490.

Describing the dress, Farfetch wrote on its website: “Recognised for a sophisticated and elegant approach to design, Rebecca Vallance incorporates a touch of patterning into the Catalina mini shirtdress as an abstract colour-block print brings to life this belted puff-sleeve style.”

Zara matched the dress with a pair of black sandals decorated with silver studs.

She also carried a pair of square-shaped sunglasses called the Tommy Limited Edition Sunglasses in Mellow Yellow by Australian eyewear label AM Eyewear.

Zara’s dress proved a controversial choice among royal fan circles, as many thought it too short and inappropriate for a 41-year-old royal. Some noted that this isn’t the first time for Zara to wear a mini dress.

Yesterday, January 8, Zara was seen in another bright outfit while in Australia, but, this time, her dress was a little longer.

The royal wore another Rebecca Vallance dress called the “Isidora” Puff-Sleeves Midi Dress, in royal blue.

She combined this with a pair of nude wedges by Novo Shoes and a pair of round-shaped Ray Ban sunglasses.

Zara completed her look with the Camera “A” Bag in Ivory Pebble by Aspinall London.
