65TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY | News, Sports, Jobs

Jim and Martha (McCauley) Means will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Thursday.

They were married on Aug. 25, 1957, in Wellsville at the former Evangelical United Brethren Church by the Rev. Clark Allison. They lived in the Wellsville area until 1972, then moved to Salem.

James is a retired UAW/auto worker at the former General Motors Lordstown Plant. They were members/officers of the former Salem Square Wheels Square Dance Club in the 1980s and 1990s

The couple celebrated their anniversary two weeks ago at Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack in Wheeling, W.Va.

They have three sons, Scott, Brent and Daniel.
