THIEVES have targeted the venue of a wedding near Hereford, making off with more than £600 worth of goods.
West Mercia Police said a marquee had been put up for a wedding at Breinton Village Hall, near Hereford, and thieves broke in overnight and stole “lots of items”.
PCSO Christina Howard said that it was when the owners arrived in the morning, they found that they had been targeted by the thieves.
Items stolen included bottles of wine, flowers, a white Instax Mini 11 Polaroid camera and film, and sweets that were in small glass jars.
The total value of the theft was around £620.
She said it happened sometime between 9pm on Saturday, August 27 and 11am the next day.
She has appealed to anyone in the area at the time who saw anything suspicious to contact police.
