Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen marked their 13th wedding anniversary with romantic throwback Instagram posts.
On Saturday, the 44-year-old football legend and the 41-year-old supermodel each shared the same black and white image that was taken of the pair during their wedding reception in 2009.
’13 years ago, we both said ‘I do’ ….and you have been the best thing that ever happened to my life,’ Tom gushed in the caption of his post.

He continued, ‘I love you more now than I ever could have imagined. You are the best mother and wife and supporter in the world and I am blessed to call you my wife.’
Tom added in his wife’s native language of Portuguese, ‘Te amo muito meu amor’ which translates in English to ‘I love you very much my love.’
The star quarterback concluded, ‘happy anniversary @gisele.’

In the caption of her post, Gisele wrote, ‘Happy anniversary love of my life! Te amo! ❤️ @tombrady.’
The snap that the two shared was taken during the at-home reception of their first wedding.
The pro athlete and the runway star tied the knot in a private ceremony at the Santa Monica Catholic Church in front of about 20 immediate family members and friends.

Gisele donned a white off-the-shoulder lace wedding gown with a long train and a lace-trimmed veil, while Tom opted for a black suit with a gray tie.
For the reception, the Vogue cover star changed into a sleeveless white sequin Dolce & Gabbana dress.
The six-time Super Bowl champion wore a white dress shirt under a beige vest and white trousers.

In the sweet image that the couple shared on Saturday, Gisele tucked a white rose behind her ear and held a bouquet of white flowers as Tom leaned forward to kiss her on her nose.
The couple’s first wedding took place on February 26, 2009, one month after they announced their engagement.
‘We planned [the wedding] in like 10 days, and it was perfect,’ Tom told GQ in 2009.
‘We went back to the house and I barbecued aged New York strips. We had champagne, a cake, some ice cream. It was a great night.’
The couple went on to have a second wedding a month later at Gisele’s home in Costa Rica.

Gisele walked down the aisle at the sunset ceremony in a white satin sheath gown with a ten-foot train while Tom sported a slate blue suit.
The two have never released official photos from their weddings but have shared glimpses at the festivities with their fans on Instagram over the years.
Tom and Gisele began dating in December of 2006 after they were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend.
At the time, the football star had recently ended a relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan, who he had dated since 2004.
Bridget, 50, confirmed that she was three months pregnant with Tom’s child in February 2007.
She gave birth to son John Edward Thomas Moynahan in August 2007 and the former couple have continued to amicably co-parent.
Tom and Gisele are parents to son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian Lake, nine.
In early February, Gisele took to Instagram with a supportive message for her husband after he announced his retirement from the NFL after 22 years in the league.

The Taxi star continued, ‘When I met you over 15 years ago, I didn’t know the first thing about football. But cheering for you and seeing you do what you love most made me learn about this wonderful game to the point that I seriously believed I knew more than the referees!
‘We always had a special champions playlist for every drive on our way to the game. As a family, we always prayed for you, celebrated and supported you in every game, cheered every win and suffered with every loss.’
Gisele said she was ‘so proud of’ Brady and everything he ‘had to overcome physically and emotionally over the years.’

Gisele called her spouse ‘the most dedicated, focused and mentally tough person’ she’s ever met.
‘You never once complained over the years about all the bruises and aches and pains,’ she wrote. ‘You just kept focusing on your goal to go out there and be the best leader there was to all your teammates.’
Gisele continued: ‘I know how excited you are about the next chapter of your life. Watching you work so hard in your football career and seeing the dedication you are now putting into all your new endeavors is incredibly inspiring.
‘There is nothing you can’t achieve. I have always been here for you, you know that, and I’m as excited as you are for what the future holds!’
